Apparently, Windows 7 will have 4 different editions, at least according to the Windows 7 Beta installation. When installing, the user can choose one of the following editions to install:
- Windows 7 Home Basic
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- Windows 7 Business
- Windows 7 Ultimate
This time, i think Microsoft made it right with Windows’ Editions… not that i had any difficulty to choose my edition of Windows Vista – i went for the Ultimate to have every new feature in Windows Vista – but for all those people that didn’t understand what was extra in every feature.
Anyway, time will tell if these are the final editions! We’ll wait for Steve to clarify! 😉
