Last week I needed to change my email signature on Gmail, to update it with new details and a few icons. Unlike Outlook.com, on Gmail it’s not possible to create your signature using HTML, but using text only with their formatting tools doesn’t make for a nice and creative signature.
So how can you do it?
- First create the html for your signature in notepad or any code editor and save it as an html file.
- Once ready, just open your html email signature file in a browser.
- Copy the signature from the browser window – select all (CTRL+A), copy (CTRL+C)
- And paste (CTRL+V) it in your Gmail email signature editor which you can find in Settings › General section.
You now have your own HTML Signature 🙂 Enjoy spamming sending emails!
