Sometimes when clicking on the Printers button, the window seems to be loading, like searching for the printers but in the end, no printers are loaded. This is the solution to see the printers again: 🙂
- open Command Prompt
- write “net stop spooler” and press enter
- wait till the spooler stops
- then write “net start spooler” and press enter
Go to the printers window, and voila… printers are back in business!! 🙂

Had a same issue on Windows 7 …. Printer was shown but with an “empty” status … printed document was not printet – restarting the Spooler-Services did it 😉
Glad it helped… 🙂 A bit late reply… but was viewing some old posts and found your comment!
